Renaissance Fair

The Renaissance Fair was a remarkable display of different stalls and activities. It was held by year 8 in the Multi-Purpose hall to give the year 7’s a ‘taste’ of the Renaissance whether it is literally or figuratively.

There was food, drinks, music, games, art, pictures to be taken and prizes to be wonEverybody got to go about and learn about the history of the Renaissance through the different stalls that were held by different groups around the MPH.

Even when it was time for all the stalls to pack up it was not the end of it. After all the fun and games it was time for the Renaissance feast. The feast contained all sorts of different foods that were eaten in the daily life of people during the Renaissance. The tasty treats included: pies, tarts, bread, turkey and fruits only to name a fewBy doing all of these things, the year 7’s had an excellent experience and got to learn a lot of things about the Renaissance.
